Bike Builders Workshop

See Saw Do was briefed by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in South Africa to design a mini maker space that would form part of the Mobility Indaba's children's program. With the theme of active mobility in mind, we aimed to engage children in the process of drawing, making, assembling, redesigning and hacking.

The environment consisted of pre-designed push bikes which could be easily assembled with basic tools, extra loose parts for re-design or designing your own mode of transport and a ramp to test your ride.

Children are encouraged to learn through doing, following their natural curiosity to make, test and explore.
